Which? Verdict
Emirates Holidays is a good package holiday provider with consistent scores, but it misses out on Which? Recommended Provider status because it doesn’t offer a guarantee not to surcharge on your holiday after you have booked.
Customer score Based on a combination of overall satisfaction and how likely people are to recommend the company. In an online survey in August/September 2024, we asked 12,119 Which? Connect panel members and members of the public about 19,958 holidays from the past two years.
Emirates Holidays performed well across the board in our survey. It received an impressive customer score (80%-81%) as a provider of beach holidays, all-inclusives and tailor-made trips, and it finished in the top half of all tables it was featured in. Customers commended its ‘high standard’ and ‘top-notch’ services.
The strong performance was partly due to its ‘wonderful’ rooms, Emirates scored four stars in all holiday categories for its accommodation. One reader happily told us: ‘The rooms, food and staff are first class.’ Another said: ‘The hotel was immaculate and offered everything we needed.’
Customers were also thoroughly pleased with the ‘efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation’. Emirates scored four stars across the board for how well its holidays were organised. We heard from several holidaymakers that ‘everything was coordinated really well’.
However, Emirates Holidays is not a WRP because it reserves the right to add a surcharge to your holiday after you have booked and paid for your holiday. It can do this if some of its own costs rise.
Should I book a holiday with Emirates Holidays?
Emirates Holidays is worth considering for beach/resort holidays, but you may want to compare with Which? Recommended Providers like Kuoni, which received a higher customer score and guarantee not to surcharge.
